The is a very special shawl. It is made with pashmina bought by us directly from a cooperative of nomads in Ladakh. To maintain the character and purity of pashmina it has not been exposed to any chemicals and has been hand-spun by women in Rajpur on a charkha (spinning wheel).a very slow process, requiring great skill.

These shawls are heavier than usual pashmina shawls made with mill yarn.

There may be small variations in size as it is made on a handloom. There may also be some inconsistencies in weaving and dyeing, which add to the character of the shawl. The length is about 87 inches (221 cms) and width 36 inches (91 cms).

We will ship the shawl within 3 working days of receiving the order. If you are India, we will ship by a courier or Speed Post. If you are outside India, we ship by DHL/FedEx. Enjoy!
