This very special wool shawl is made of wool hand-spun on a charkha by Bhotia ladies in the Himalayas. The yarn is hand-dyed with natural dyes, harada and tea and then hand-woven into this beautiful shawl.
There may be small variations in size as it is made on a handloom. There may also be some inconsistencies in weaving and dyeing, which add to the character of the shawl. The length is about 100 inches (254 cms) and the width 52 inches (132 cms).
